Attorney Robert Handley

Robert Handley was licensed to practice law in 1979. He has been in private practice in Carol Stream since 1981.  He represents individuals and corporations in general civil litigation, among other things. He is "AV Rated" (highest peer review rating) by the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Handley is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and other Bar Associations. He frequently speaks at seminars on various topics. In addition, Mr. Handley has been published in a variety of Bar Publications and a West Publications legal practice guide on Insurance Law.

He has tried numerous jury cases to verdict. He has represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants in personal injury cases and has tried a large variety of other cases throughout the Northern Illinois area.

Mr. Handley is the past Chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association Civil Practice and Procedure Section Council. He is also the past Chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Liason Committee and the past Chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association Insurance Law Council. Mr. Handley also served for eight years as a member of the Inquiry Panel and the Hearing Board of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois.
