Janice DriggersAssociate Janice Driggers is an Associate with Burke & Handley, focusing her practice in commercial litigation, banking law, and real estate law. Her experience includes extensive involvement in all aspects of the litigation process from the investigative phase through trial. Prior to joining Burke & Handley, Janice represented misdemeanor clients for court appearances and won several bench trials under Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 while interning in the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office. She was also an intern at the Office of the State Appellate Defenders Third District. Janice attended the Northern Illinois University College of Law where she served as Mediation Coordinator and Adjudicator for the student community resolving student conflicts and presenting mediation outreach programs for the NIU community. She also adjudicated student disciplinary hearings. In addition to her practice, Janice is a volunteer attorney with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services where she negotiates clients’ loan modifications in Cook County’s foreclosure mediation program. She also works as a contract attorney for Sande Entertainment in South Africa where she negotiates contracts for artist performances and representation. Practice Areas
